MEET THE OWNER
Joel Wissner
I was raised by a career firefighter who instilled an honest work ethic and an above-and-beyond attitude. From an early age I developed an obsession with beauty, order, and efficiency.
As a teenager, I started working in construction in the heat of Arizona summers. Later, while I pursued degrees in music and rehab counseling and started a family, I was always remodeling my own house and helping friends with projects large and small. In 2017 I became a landlord and completed a total remodel of one of my units while managing my properties.
After the pandemic halted my desk job career, I decided to strike out on my own and start Homemade Handyman.
And I haven't looked back since.
